Introduction

What Runva is, what makes it different, and where to go from here.

Runva is a place to keep AI teammates you can hand real work to. You message an Agent the way you'd message anyone you work with. It has a computer of its own, so it keeps going after you've closed yours, and you can watch it work or take the keyboard whenever you want.

What's different about it

  • Every agent has a computer. Not a sandbox that gets wiped when the answer arrives. Files stay where the Agent left them, software stays installed, and browser logins stay signed in, so the next conversation starts where the last one stopped.
  • You can watch, and you can take over. The screen is right there in the workspace. Take the keyboard to sign into something or fix a step, then hand it back.
  • It works while you're away. Close your laptop. The work is on a machine Runva runs, not on yours.
  • Nothing to build first. Make an Agent, tell it what you want, and go. There's no workflow to draw and no setup wizard to finish.
  • It keeps what it learns. An Agent picks up how you like things done, and you can turn anything it does well into a Skill it can repeat.

A good first task

Give it something real with a clear finish, and say where to stop:

Go through the invoices in this folder, pull out the vendor, date, and total for each one, and put them in a spreadsheet sorted by date. Flag anything where the total doesn't match the line items. Don't email anyone.

That tells the Agent the outcome, where to work, what to hand back, and where your approval is needed.

Where to go next

  • Install covers the Mac app and what it adds.
  • Your first agent walks through making one and getting a result out of it.
  • Permissions and approvals is worth reading before you connect anything sensitive.
  • How Runva fits together is the model behind all of it, for when you want the exact shape of things.

We’re not ready yet.

Runva is still being built. This is coming soon.
